Lois Gertrude Fankhauser, 88, of Jacobsburg, Ohio died June 13, 2020 in Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV.

She was born May 25, 1932 in Jacobsburg, Ohio, a daughter of the late Grover Neff and Wilma Ramsay Neff Dunn.

Gertrude was a retired home health nurse's aide and worked on the family farm. She attended Bend Fork Christian Church and enjoyed crocheting.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood Carl Fankhauser, a daughter, Paula Barbe and a sister, Nada George.

Surviving are her two sons, Gary E. Fankhauser of Jacobsburg and Neal (Paula) Fankhauser of Bethesda, son-in-law, Terry Barbe of Bethesda; two grandsons, Ty and Brock Fankhauser; three granddaughters, Jennifer (Ryan) Schumacher, Cassie Jo Coates and Victoria (Preston) Morris; and five great grandchildren, Emma, Ada and Owen Coates and William and Seth Schumacher.

There will be no visitation or public service.  Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Bend Fork Christian Church or Smith Township Vol. Fire Dept.
