Obituary
Linda Lee Obloy Vass, 74, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died December 21, 2017 at Liza's Place in Wheeling, WV.
She was born January 3, 1943 in Wheeling, WV, a daughter of the late Frank G. and Evelyn Westfall Obloy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, Frank "Sonny" Obloy.
Linda is survived by her husband, Ernest Allen Vass; four children, Michael Vass of Newark, OH, Jennifer Lane, Scott (Janel) Vass and Jeff (Sue) Vass all of St. Clairsville; seven grandchildren, Zachary Vass, Trevor Vass, Kaley Synatzske, Justin Lane, David Lane, Noah Vass and Aiden Vass.
Linda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She served as a school nurse at St. Mary's and St. Joseph's Catholic Schools for over 20 years and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in St. Clairsville.
In keeping with Linda's wishes, visitation will be at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Saturday, Dec. 23rd from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. with a vigil service at 7:45 p.m.
Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, Dec. 26th at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in St. Clairsville with Father Thomas Chillog the celebrant.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Church or Valley Hospice.
