Obituary

After a 9 month battle with cancer, Linda Kay Golden Gregan of St. Clairsville passed away on September 18, 2012. She was born on July 2, 1945 in Clarksburg West Virginia to William W. and Mary A. (Shreves) Golden.

Linda graduated from Roosevelt Wilson High School in 1963. She graduated from Fairmont State College in West Virginia where she was crowned their 1966-67 homecoming queen. She taught High School Phys. Ed and English at Tridelphia High School. She then went on to work for the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services.

Linda was loved by all who knew her. She always had a smile for her friends and she never met a stranger. She loved to cook for her family and friends. She was also a collector and loved treasure hunts. She was a devoted grandmother.

Besides her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Ronald John Gregan.

She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Rhonda and Ed Ondash of Shalersville, Ohio; Sons Ron Gregan of Shadyside, Ohio and Matthew Gregan of Henderson, Nevada; five grandchildren, Kayla and JoAnna Ondash and Jacob, Haylee, and Alexandria Gregan. She is also survived by her sister Karen (Ellis) Corley of Blackstone, VA. She will be greatly missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

At her request there will be no funeral services. Following cremation there will be a private ceremony for immediate family. She asked for those who loved her, to buy a rose and think of her kindly whenever you look at it.
