Linda Marie Simone Ellis, 77, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died November 21, 2025, at Cumberland Pointe Care Center.

She was born November 15, 1948, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, a daughter of the late Mary Lou Rorata Simone and Mario "Fifi" Simone.

Linda was a retired teacher from St. Clairsville Richland City Schools. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in St. Clairsville. The most important thing in her life was her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant nephew, Zachary Simone.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Tessa (Jose) Martinez; a brother, Laney (Tina) Simone; two grandchildren, Sophia and Maria Martinez; two nephews, Dominic Simone and Laney (Bri) Simone; and a great nephew and great niece, Eli Simone and Leena Simone.

Family and friends will be received on December 14th, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home for Celebration of Life followed by a service with Fr. Thomas Chillog officiating. The family would like everyone to dress in bright colors, florals, or prints to honor Linda.
