Collin, Lily Ann, 71, of Rescare's Pine View Group Home in Belmont, Ohio formerly of Mt. Hope Group Home in Flushing, Ohio died Tuesday March 27, 2012 at East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry.
She was born March 10, 1941 in Steubenville, Ohio, a daughter of the late Joseph James Collin and Dorothy Hoffner Collin Worstell.
Lily attended Tomorrow's Corner Day Program where she enjoyed the positive attention she received and flirting with all of the gentlemen that work there.
Lily was a very positive, happy lady. No matter what you asked her at any time, her famous word were "why Sure". Lily enjoyed playing and shuffling her massive amounts of playing cards that she collected over the years. Lily also enjoyed watching old time movies and shows such as, I Love Lucy, Gone With The Wind, and Annie. She had a way with all the people around her; all she had to do was give them the look and a smile to get their attention.
She will be sadly missed by all who were close to her, including her housemates; caregivers; a step sister, Rosemary Adams; and half brother, John Worstell.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Tuesday from 12:30 p.m. until time of service at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Jerry Wenger officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry, OH.
