Lillian Jean Taddia Soukup, 92, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died July 4, 2022, in Belmont Manor Nursing Home.

She was born August 7, 1929, in Wellesley, Massachusetts, daughter of the late Dennis Taddia and Mamie Balboni Taddia.

Lil was a loving wife and mother and a wonderful grammy who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald "Butchie" Soukup; her brother, Donald Taddia and sister-in-law, Barbara Taddia.

Surviving are her two children, Cynthia (Frank) Jaworski and Doug (Kathy) Soukup and four grandchildren, Kevin (Tiffany) Jaworski, Caitlin Jaworski, Trenton (Marie) Soukup and Taryne (Jason) Soukup; several nieces and nephews.

Honoring Lillian's wishes, there will be no visitation. Everyone is invited to a Funeral Liturgy with Mass on Friday, July 15, 2022, at 2:30 p.m., with Father Thomas Chillog as celebrant. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cumberland Trail Firefighters.
