Lila Mae Underwood, 91, of Key-Bellaire Road, Bellaire, died Sunday, March 6, 2022, in Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV.

She was born June 23, 1930, in Bellaire, Ohio, a daughter of the late Emmet and Fern Iams Corbett.

Lila was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a member of the Mount Zion United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd E. Underwood; a daughter-in-law, Bertie E. Underwood; two brothers, Walter and Charles Corbett; and a sister, Lucille Johnston.

Lila is survived by her four sons, Donley and Dennis Underwood both of Boyd Ridge, Bellaire, Randy Underwood of Jacobsburg, and Rodney Underwood of Key Ridge, Bellaire, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg, Ohio, where services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Larry Helms officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
