Lewis L. DeVault, 71, of Moundsville, West Virginia, died April 6, 2024, in Wheeling Hospital.
He was born March 5, 1953, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, a son of the late Elwood and Laura Maroni DeVault.
Lewis was a mechanic, having worked for various shops including Goddard's, Laymans and Dale's. His interests included golfing, Nascar, fishing and the Dallas Cowboys.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Alexis Kimber; three sisters, Cecelia McClure, Elizabeth Shields and Mary DeVault; two brothers, Elwood DeVault Jr. and Victor DeVault; a niece, Lisa Bentz; a great nephew, Justin Anderson; and a great niece, Alicia Barton Labiche.
He is survived by four children, Glenda Sells, Lewis DeVault II and his fiancée Alexandra, Andrew DeVault and Jamie Marchani; four siblings, Cheryl (John) Gargala, Karen (John) Salkovich, Isaac (Monica) DeVault and Anna DeVault; 10 grandchildren, Jacob (Molly) Sells Jr., Kayla Wayne, Brittany Moore, Marissa Pierce, Madison Pierce, Johnathan Pierce, Landon Richards, Hailey Kimber, Jena Marchani and J.J. Marchani; 4 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
