Leslie T. Lucas, 71 of Orchard Terrace Apartments, St. Clairsville formerly of Centerville, Ohio died Monday, September 4, 2006 at his home.

He was born on December 15, 1934 near Glencoe, Ohio, a son of the late Charles and Bea Higgins Lucas.

Leslie was a retired employee of Consolidation Coal Company and a former member of the Smith Township Volunteer Fire Department.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene Hunt Lucas.

He is survived by his sons Alan (Pamela) Lucas of St. Clairsville; Jerry (Diana) Lucas of Cincinnati and Gerald Lucas of St. Clairsville; his sister, Sara (Leroy) Carpenter of Centerville; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call at the Toothman Funeral Home, Jacobsburg, Ohio on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. where services will be held at 8:15 p.m. with Dan Aderholt officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky at the convenience of the family.
