Lela C. Kresak, 83, formerly of Glencoe, Ohio died Wednesday, September 6, 2006 at Country Club Retirement Center in Bellaire.
She leaves many people who knew and loved her. Lela enjoyed talking and laughing and she was known for cooking fabulous meals. She was very generous with everything she had, she showed her love and kindness and greeted everyone with a smile. Most of all she loved her entire family.
Lela was born in Glencoe, Ohio on March 26, 1923 a daughter of the late Basilio and Antonia Amici.
She was a retired employee from the G. C. Murphy Co. in Bellaire. Lela was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Neffs where she was a member of the Catholic Women?s Club.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Kresak; a brother, Leo Amici and an infant brother, Columbus Amici.
Lela is survived by her three sons, Dennis (Teri) Kresak of Hudson, Ohio, David Kresak of Chagrin Falls, Ohio and Dean (Pam) Kresak of St. Clairsville; two granddaughters, Susan Winter and Jenna Kresak; a great granddaughter, Emily Winter; four sisters, Jenny Cinzori of Dearborn, Michigan, Lola Olexa of Detroit, Michigan, Thelma Mehl of Henderson, Nevada and Elva Atkinson of Rayland, Ohio; and a brother, William Amici of Garden City, Michigan.
Family and friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. with a vigil service at 7 p.m. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, Neffs. Burial will follow in Glencoe Cemetery, Glencoe, Ohio.
