Boston, Lela J., 100 of Armstrongs Mills, Ohio died Saturday, December 22, 2007 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

She was born at Armstrongs Mills on January 23, 1907 a daughter of the late Hudson and Lucy Ellen Yocum VanDyne.

She was the former co-owner and operator of Boston?s Store in Armstrongs Mills and was a member of the Armstrongs Mills United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents Lela was preceded in death by her husband Paul E. Boston; a daughter Dorothy Jean Goddard; sons Starling Boston and Earl Boston; a grandson Michael Goddard; great granddaughters Cara Goddard Baker and Tammy Milhoan; a daughter-in-law Elizabeth Boston and 10 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by a son Burl "Dozer" (Billie) Boston of Massillon, Ohio; a son-in-law Glenn "Jim" Goddard of Armstrongs Mills; daughters-in-law Ruth Boston of Armstrongs Mills and Gladys Boston of Canton, Ohio; grandchildren, Juanita (Dave) Milhoan of Canton, Bonnie (Fred) Angel of San Antonio, TX, Starling "Junior" (Dee) Boston of Jacobsburg, Ed (Zelda) Boston of Beallsville, Monica Boston of St. Clairsville, Glenn "Butch" (Alice) Goddard of Beallsville, Dennis (Missy) Goddard of Centerville and Michelle (Doug) Chovan of Massillon, 18 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home, Jacobsburg, Ohio on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. with Pastors Michelle Lucarelli and Darla Schnegg officiating. Burial will follow in the Armstrong Cemetery.
