Lee Underwood, 56, of St. Clairsville, OH died Monday, September 20, 2021 at Wheeling Hospital.  He was born February 15, 1965 in Weirton, WV. He was a son of Perley "Ed" Underwood and the late Eleanor "Diane" Criss Underwood.

Lee was the retired owner/operator of Underwood Excavating.  He enjoyed history, especially military history.  He was a great man, a loving husband, father, and friend.  He was loved by many, and was frequently called upon for advice.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Tobias "Toby" Underwood.

Surviving are his father, Perley "Ed" Underwood; his wife, Lorna Musgrave Underwood; his children, Alyssa (David) Clay, Brett (Rachael) Underwood; siblings, Tammy (John Watson) Underwood and David (Susie Richardson) Underwood; a sister-in-law, Beth Underwood; granddaughter, Payten Clay; grandson, Kane Williams.

Friends and family will be received on Friday from 2-8 pm and Saturday from 11-1 pm at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville with services at 1 pm.  Private burial will be held at the convenience of the family on the family's property.
