Lawrence L. "Larry" Brandon Jr., 66, of Jacobsburg, died September 7, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born in Bellaire, Ohio on February 12, 1949, a son of the late Lawrence L. Brandon Sr. and Lydella Burch Brandon.
Larry was the owner and operator of L & J Construction Company. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War; was a member of the American Legion Post 632 in Glencoe, V.F. W. Post 626 in Bellaire, and the Neffs Rod and Gun Club.
He is survived by his wife Nancy K. Allen Brandon; a son, Lawrence L. Brandon III of Jacobsburg; two daughters, Paula Marlin of Bellaire and Lorry (Jay) Stephens of Belmont; five granddaughters, Summer and Kassidy Stephens, Laryssa, Layken and Lacy Brandon; three brothers, Fred Brandon of Florida, Leroy Brandon of Shadyside and George Brandon of Neffs; four sisters, Lydella Honeywell of Shadyside, Bertha Mamie of Bellaire, Betty Church of Donnerville and Estella Mlynek of Florida; several nieces, nephews and friends.
Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg on Wednesday from 2 to 8 p.m., where services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. with Pastor James Lish officiating. Burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery, Blaine.
The Belmont County Veterans Association will conduct Full Military Honor Services on Wednesday at 5 p.m. in the funeral home.
