Laura Morrison's Obituary
Laura G. Morrison, 87 of Fairpoint-Maynard Rd., St.Clairsville died Monday, June 30, 2003 at the Park Health Center in St.Clairsville. She was born April 28, 1916 in Fairpoint. A daughter of the late Otto Kasik and Mabel Findlay Kasik.
She was a former employee of A&P, Reicharts, and the Belmont Hills Country Club; a member of House Of The Shepherd in New Athens.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles William Morrison; daughter, Patricia Wolf; son, Robert Piper; three sisters, Madalyn Staten, Elizabeth Mazeroski, and Dorothy Bowden.
Surviving are two sisters, Millie Stack of Homeside, and Kathryn Zavacky of Midway; three grandchildren, Doug, Carol and Mike Wolf; 5 great grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home in St.Clairsville on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at the House Of The Shepherd in New Athens with Rev. Paul Hamilton officiating. Burial follows in Longview Cemetery, New Athens.
Memorial contributions may be made to the House of the Shepherd or the Maynard Volunteer Fire Department.
