Larry D. Puckett, 79, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died January 30, 2020 in Wheeling Hospital.

He was born August 28, 1940 in Fieldale, Virginia, a son of the late James David Puckett and Nannie Ethel Trent Puckett.

Larry was a civil engineer project manager for American Electric Power and a former pilot with Piedmont Airlines.  He was a U.S. Airforce veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of the American Legion Post 159 and a member of East Richland Evangelical Friends Church.

Surviving are his loving wife, Darlene Moore Puckett who he married May 28, 1988; four children, Larry James (Liz) Puckett, Bryan (Nelly) Puckett, Kristy (John) Anderson and Lisa Bishop (Damon Brooks); and seven grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio on Monday from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. with Rev. Jerry Wenger officiating.  Burial will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery in Harrisville, Ohio. Full Military Honors will be conducted by the Belmont County Veterans Association.
