Larry J. Lough, 78, of St. Clairsville, OH died Saturday, January 23, 2021 at his home. He was born October 2, 1942 in Hundred, WV., a son of the late Charles O. and Irene Rosalene Ryder Lough.
Larry was a retired maintenance supervisor of Belmont County Board of MRDD, a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War serving from 1962-1971. He was a life member of American Legion Post 227, and enjoyed old car shows. He belonged to Bridgeport 200 Club Boosters and was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and OSU Buckeyes. Larry was a graduate of Union Local High School.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Roger Toothman and Orville Edgar.
Surviving are his wife, Beverly Ann Grimm Lough of St. Clairsville; two sons, Joseph C. (Vicki) Lough of St. Clairsville, Ronald N. (Pauline) Lough of SC; two step-sons, Steve (Jodi) Solar, Jr. of Belmont, OH and Kevin Solar of Atlanta, GA; a brother, Charles E. Lough of Barnesville, OH; two sisters, Janet Toothman and Karolyn Edgar both of Jacobsburg, OH; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins
Due to COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing and masks are required.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville with Funeral Services on Thursday at 11 am with Rev. Jim Hoff officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH.
