Obituary

Larry W. Holstein, 71, of St. Clairsville, died August 4, 2019 at his home.

He was born September 12, 1947 in Fairpoint, Ohio, son of the late Billy Estel Holstein and Marie Ella Triplett Holstein.

Larry was a retired coal miner from Powhatan # 6 Mine and former employee of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel's Mingo Plant.  He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.  He is a member of Lloydsville United Methodist Church and a member of Flushing Lodge # 298 F. & A.M.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Patty Holstein.

Surviving are two children, William (Chrystal) Holstein of Kingsland, Georgia and Betheny (Jeremy) Kohus of Flushing, Ohio; two grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and his girlfriend, Charlotte Glessner.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. with Masonic Funeral Services at 7:45 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio where Services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Kenn Sickle officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Belmont County Animal Shelter.
