Larry Lee Bumgardner, 61, of St. Clairsville, died Saturday, September 23, 2006 at East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry.

He was born July 24, 1945 in Stewartsville, Ohio, son of the late Clark Bumgardner and Gladys Wheeler Bumgardner Wilson.

Larry was owner and operator of Leeway Products Inc. for 25 years. He was a former employee of Clifford Motors in St. Clairsville. He was a member of Thoburn United Methodist Church in St. Clairsville. Larry was a charter member of the St. Clairsville Kiwanis Club.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Warren Bumgardner and his stepfather, Rev. Orville O. Wilson.

Larry is survived by his wife, Sherry D. Clifford Bumgardner; two daughters, Joyce (Jim) McCollough of Palmyra, Virginia and Kim (Bishop) Hadley of Sussex, Wisconsin; a son, Todd (Vanessa) Bumgardner of Bellefontaine, Ohio; a granddaughter, Jackie McCollough; a grandson, Jimmy McCollough; a sister, Sue (Pat) Moeller of Tucson, Arizona; a brother, Rodney (Edith) Bumgardner of Statesville, North Carolina and a sister-in-law, Joan Bumgardner of Falls Church, Virginia.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m. where services will be held on Monday at 2 p.m., with Rev. David Tosi and Wayne Weber officiating. Burial will follow in Glencoe Cemetery.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers a memorial contribution be made to Cumberland Trail Firefighters Association, P. O. Box 262, St. Clairsville, OH 43950.
