L. Eugene Berry, 71 of Flushing, Ohio, our angel on earth who is now our angel in heaven, died Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at Ohio Valley Medical Center in Wheeling.

He was born September 22, 1938 in Duncanwood, Ohio, a son of the late Lester Berry and Berdena Howell Berry.

He was a retired bus driver for the Belmont County Community Action Commission and a member of the Flushing Alliance Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Marie Berry and Mary Rocchi.

Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Bartrug Berry; children, Regina Keyser of Flushing, Kevin (Rhonda) Berry of Warnock, and Ronald (Kerri) Berry of Cambridge; a sister, Betty Twarog of St. Clairsville; grandchildren, Kevin Berry, Eugene Keyser, Nathien Berry, Carolyn Berry, and Jenna Keyser; great grandchildren, Kaiden and Mason Berry.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Flushing Alliance Church with Pastor Dean Lancaster officiating.
