Obituary

Kristopher Cole “Kris” Kendall, 17, of Belmont, Ohio, died on July 16, 2026. He was born August 3, 2008 in Fannin County, Georgia.

Kris was a junior at Union Local High School and Belmont Career Center studying carpentry. He had a strong belief in God and was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church. Kris loved his siblings so deeply. He was always ready to help anyone at the drop of a hat. Kris enjoyed working out and he was a motorhead who loved trucks, cars and dirtbikes. He never turned down a chance to go riding in the cricks or late-night catfishing with his family. He loved a deep mud hole or getting the biggest catch. Kris did everything with his whole heart, weather it was wrestling as a Jet, doing a burn out or taking out the trash. His favorite places to be were at the top of Pappy Joe’s hill or on a back road.

He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Edman E. Braun, Nancy Jerico and David McMahon, a great aunt, Michelle Jerico, great-great grandparents, Maxine and Vigo Rotilio and a cousin, Christopher Broz.

Kris is survived by his parents, Kelli Jo Braun McMahon and Andrew T. “Andy” McMahon; six siblings, Andrew M., Rilynn C., Alexander C. and Cheyenne J. McMahon, Emma and Jaxon Martin; grandparents, Edman J. “Joe” (Sandra) Braun Sr., Kelly J. Jerico, Sherri (James) McCloud; great grandparents, Shirley Braun and David L. Jerico.

Also surviving are aunts and uncles, Edman J. Braun Jr., Josh McCloud, Amanda Tuchek, Josie Verardi, Alyssa McCloud, Cassandra Verardi, Ryan Braun, Amber Tester, Courtney Verardi, Ashley Serdar, Aubrey Braun, Joseph Braun, Jace Braun and Amanda Kinda; his special friend, Katherine Akers; great aunts, great uncles, cousins and friends.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, July 22nd from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio, where services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m., with Pastor Terry Lucarelli officiating. The burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Grove.
