Kenneth R. Graham, age 76, of Little Captina Road, Powhatan Point, Ohio, died Saturday, April 5, 2003 at Ohio State University Hospital, Columbus, OH after a lengthy illness. He was born December 28, 1926 at Powhatan Point, Ohio, son of Stella Kanzigg Graham and the late Daniel B. Graham.
Kenneth was a retired employee from North American Coal Company # 3 mine and a dairy farmer. He was a Christian by faith and a member of Christ?s Church in heaven and attended the Grandview Christian Church for many years. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II where he served in the Pacific Theater. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Wilbur Graham.
Surviving in addition to his mother, Stella, of Powhatan Point, are his loving wife of fifty years, Dorothy Carpenter Graham; two sons, Bob Graham and his wife Kathy and Ron Graham and his wife Kelley all of Powhatan Point; a daughter, Cathy Russell and her husband Scott of Columbus, OH; five grandchildren, Kari, Kali and Gavan Graham, Morgan Rae Graham and Zachary Aaron Russell; sister-in-law, Opal Jenewein; brothers-in-law, Mel Jenewein, Wayne Carpenter and Floyd Carpenter; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg, Ohio on Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. There will also be visitation at Grandview Christian Church on Wednesday from 12 noon until time of services at 1 p.m. with ministers, Richard Baumberger and Wayne Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. There will be Full Military Graveside Services conducted by the Belmont County Council of American Legions.
