Obituary
Steadman, Kathy S. Brown, 61 of Pipe Creek, Ohio died Tuesday, September 17, 2013.
She was born March 6, 1952 in Bellaire, Ohio, a daughter of the late Lawrence Brown and Hilda Fiest Brown.
Kathy was a former employee of LGAM Garment Manufacturing in Woodsfield, a member of Captina Chapter # 489 Order of the Eastern Star, Powhatan VFW, and Osiris Lady's Shrine in Wheeling. She was a former advanced EMT and Firefighter with Powhatan Fire Department.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Bill and Leland Brown; a sister, Alice Hoskinson.
Surviving are her husband, Charlie Steadman; three children, John (Lori) Steadman of Pipe Creek, Kim (Onion) Dierkes of Powhatan Point, and Heather (Brian) Hivley of Gallipolis, Ohio; a sister, Beth Ann (Roger) Wade of Bellaire; 13 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg on Saturday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m.
Captina Chapter #489 Order of the Eastern Star will conduct services at 8:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
A private interment service will be held at the convenience of the family in Powhatan Cemetery.
