Kathryn Gale Stapp was born on August 17, 1971 in Wheeling, West Virginia to Linda Yvone Wise Stapp and Ira Frank Stapp Jr. She has come to pass from a very lengthy battle with ovarian cancer on May 11, 2022.

She is preceded in death by her mother Linda. She is survived by her father Frank and his wife Debbie of Sarahsville, OH. She leaves behind her two precious children, Lindsay Adaline Baugh of St. Clairsville, OH and Camden Michael Baugh of Flushing, OH, who were the absolute joys and light of her life. She leaves behind her canine companions, Shausta, Banni, and Floki; her sisters Kimberly Jones of St. Clairsville, Amy Stapp of Cambridge, OH, and Amanda Stapp-Smith and her husband Jeff Smith; her brother Chad Heil and his wife Bridget of Mansfield, OH; four nephews, Justin, Dalton, Race, and Jackson; and a niece, Addison.

Kathy enjoyed her cooking, her gardening, and her animals more than anything, and had a great spirit for life.

There will be no showing at her request. She wanted to leave the world as she lived in it: quietly, peacefully, and privately. Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home.
