Kathy Lou Sechrest, 68 of Heath, Ohio passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at her home.  Kathy was born August 16, 1957 in Wheeling, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Lewis and Luetta Davis Trigg.

Left behind to remember Kathy as the loving, sweet person she was, is her son, Matthew David Sechrest and granddaughter, Jana Sechrest both of Heath; sisters, Patricia (Paul) Ondrick of Belmont, Ohio and Mary Ellen (Garry) Goldsmith of Heath; nieces, Shelly (Robert) James of Barnesville, Ohio, Kari (Scott) Workhoven of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, Jane Ann (Andrew) Olmsted of Kalamazoo, Michigan; nephews, Richard (Shontai) Goldsmith and Michael (Kristen) Goldsmith, both of Newark, Ohio; several precious great nieces and nephews.

Kathy worked at several jobs in her early employment years.  Her last and longest job was with Columbia Gas of Ohio, a Nisource Company.  She loved the work she did and so many people she worked with.  Kathy was a member of Southgate Church of Christ in Heath.

Family and friends will be received on Friday for a Memorial Visitation and Memorial Service from 1 pm until time of services at 2 pm at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville, Ohio with Pastor Paul Marty officiating.  Burial of the cremated remains will be in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio at the convenience of the family.
