Kathryn L. "Kathy" Baker, 74, of St. Clairsville, Ohio passed away peacefully September 14, 2021 at Beacon House in St. Clairsville.

Kathy was born March 24, 1947 in Cleveland, Ohio, a daughter of the late Phillip F. Barbina and Helen Joan (Dyrdek) Barbina.

Kathy was a retired administrative assistant from MSHA in Dallas Pike. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in St. Clairsville. She was an avid photographer and enjoyed traveling and visiting friends and family.

Kathy's character and life is exemplified by Jesus' sermon on the Mount in the Gospel of Matthew, Chapter 5:3-12. She was supportive to people, had a spirit of kindness and a keen awareness of others' needs. Kathy was always available to her family, friends, co-workers and community to share in their joys, trials and times of grief. Most of all, she loved the Lord Jesus and is now receiving her great reward in Heaven.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Keith A. Baker Sr., a sister, Phyllis Wagner, and a brother, Kenneth Barbina.

Kathy is survived by her three grandchildren, Brandi (Justin) Baker, Keith A. (Hayley) Baker Jr. and Jacob Baker; a daughter-in-law, Misty Baker; a brother, James (Lu Anne) Barbina; a sister-in-law, Judy Barbina; an uncle and aunt, Gene and Pat Dyrdek; nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 6 – 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church in St. Clairsville on Monday at 11 a.m. with Father Thomas Chillog the celebrant.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations will be forwarded to the American Lung Association and other organizations Kathy was involved with.
