Katherine Keyser, 83 of Shadyside, Ohio formerly of Jacobsburg died Monday, April 30, 2018 at Shadyside Care Center.

She was born April 6, 1935 in Shadyside, a daughter of the late Joseph Monroe and Catherine Richardson Monroe.

Katherine was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Shadyside.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph P. Keyser; and several siblings.

Surviving are a stepdaughter, Jo Anne (Caleb) Baker of Jacobsburg; three children, Carol Unterzuber of Florida, Joseph H. (Star) Keyser of Byesville, OH, and Judy (Robert) Rebecca of Florida; a brother, Tom Monroe of Shadyside; 4 grandchildren, Robert Rebecca, James Keyser, Michelle Williams, and Jeff Baker; 3 great grandchildren, JR Williams, Hope Baker, and Jeffrey Baker

Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Dennis Hancock officiating.

Burial follows in Davis Cemetery, Bellaire, Ohio.

Following the committal service family and friends are invited to attend a dinner at the Shadyside Church of the Nazarene.
