Karen A. McKeen, 77, of Belmont, OH died Monday, January 4, 2021 at Wheeling Hospital.  She was born July 10, 1943 in Belmont, a daughter of the late Charles and Mary Kappel Freeman.

Karen was retired from the Belmont County Board of Elections and a member of the Belmont United Methodist Church.  Her family and faith was very important to her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, June Freeman and Darlene Moran.

Surviving are her husband, Larry N. McKeen of Belmont; sons, Mark (Lori) McKeen, David (Anne) McKeen both of St. Clairsville, OH and Joseph (Theresa) McKeen of Bridgeport, OH; five grandchildren, Mark McKeen, Jr., Zachary McKeen, Megan McKeen, Mikayla McKeen, Michael McKeen.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 4-7 pm at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville with funeral services on Friday at 2 pm with Rev. Theresa Bobot officiating.  Burial will follow in Belmont Cemetery.
