Karen Sue Cupryk, 65, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at Liza’s Place, Wheeling, WV.

She was born December 26, 1960, in Bellaire, Ohio, a daughter of the late Richard Ray “Dick” Heagin and Johanna “Joann” Lotz Heagin.

Karen was a retired nurse from Park Health Center and the former Oakview Nursing Home. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. Her passion for taking care of others was evidenced in her many years of work and with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Heagin; and brother-in-law, Fred Thario

Karen is survived by her husband, Steve Cupryk; two sons, Chase Cupryk and Dillon Cupryk; three sisters, Kathleen Heagin, Barbara Thario and Bridget Heagin; two brothers, Kevin (Anne) Heagin and Keith Heagin; nieces and nephews, Kyle Springer, Tyler Springer, Todd (James) Mollendick, Erika Heagin and Elaina Heagin; other family and friends.

Family and friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio, on Tuesday, April 28th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.

Memorial donations may be made to a Charity of the Donor’s Choice in memory of Karen.
