K. Eleanor McMahon, 87, of Shadyside, Ohio passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Wheeling Hospital. She was born March 14, 1937, in Moundsville, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Michael and Katherine Mayo Poppe.

Eleanor was a retired seamstress for Bobbie Brooks. She was a former 4H Den Mother and Advisor and a member of Old Wegee Methodist Church. But most of all, she was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother to her family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by George W. McMahon in 2019; one brother, Michael Poppe; and one sister, Charlotte Jean Ciancone.

She is survived by her five children, Cherrel Lynn Nash of Shadyside, Ohio, Micki (Bob) O'Dell of Key, Ohio, Denise Marie (Jack) Stolirchick of Windsor Heights, West Virginia, Ed (Angie) McMahon of Fairmont, West Virginia and Rick (Ann) McMahon of Stewartsville, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Carol Poppe; 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Honoring her wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral services.

Memorial Contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
