June Helen Jones, 62, of Fairpoint, Ohio, died Friday, March 17, 2006 at East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry. She was born June 7, 1943 in Fairpoint, daughter of the late Leo and Virginia Shores Stachyra.

June was a member of the St. Joseph?s Catholic Church in Fairpoint. She was also a member of the Fairpoint Polish Club.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Jones; a brother, Richard "Dick" Stachyra; and a sister, Connie J. Melet.

Surviving are her four stepsons, Steve Jones of Barnesville, Kenny Jones of Bethesda, Ron Jones of Piedmont and Warner Jones of Florida; a sister, Patricia (Tom) Leonard of Fairpoint; a brother, Edmond (Dolly) Stachyra of Steubenville; two step grandsons, Ron Jones Jr. and Brady Jones; and a great granddaughter, Kylie Marie Jones.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio, where services will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. with Father Thomas Graven officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in St. Clairsville.
