Julia "Judy" Bilica Moore, 97, of Barton, Ohio died December 1, 2020 at her home.
She was born November 8, 1923 in Barton, Ohio, a daughter of the late Mitro Bilica and Mary Wanca Bilica. She was the last in her line of the Bilica family.
Judy was a retired secretary of MSHA in Triadelphia, WV and former secretary from Ogden News. She is a member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Barton and a U.S. Navy veteran having served in a Naval hospital in Longbeach, California.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers, Frank, Nicholas, Steve, Mike, John and Paul Bilica; seven sisters, Anne Bilica, Mary McQuade, Nancy Shelton, Helen Sinoski, Frances LeMasters, Elizabeth Ross and Jeanette Bella.
Surviving are her daughter, Cynthia (Laney) Ross; four grandchildren, Laney J. (Anna) Ross II, Mary Ellen (Ken) Copas, Cindy Beth (Michael) Ross-Butterfield and Anne Marie (Jessica) Cohen-Ross; nine great grandchildren, Tara, Lara, Maria, and Kenny Copas, Londyn, Hunter and Farley Butterfield, Kai and Avery Cohen-Ross; special nieces, Janice Neuhart, Sandie Vetula and Carol Latimer and many other nieces and nephews; special great-great nephews, Michael Sinoski and Garon Neuhart.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, facial coverings and social distancing is required during the public visitation on Thursday at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. with Funeral Service starting at 7 p.m.
Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church with the Very Reverend Michael Kabel officiating. Burial will be in St. Nicholas Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Nicholas Church.
