Julia A. Harrison, 63, of St. Clairsville, OH formerly of Melbourne, KY died Saturday, January 1, 2022, at her home.  She was born January 11, 1958, in Covington, KY., a daughter of the late Joseph and Ruth Dugan Carl.

Julia was a former Insurance Clerk for St. Elizabeth Hospital in Covington.  She and husband Bob moved to this area and purchased the Bellaire Harbor Service where she served as the Co-owner/operator and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, a former member of Fort Mitchell Volunteer Fire Department Ambulance Service and the Boone County Water Rescue.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Timothy J. Carl; a brother-in-law, Robert Lay.

Surviving are her loving husband, Robert G. Harrison and son, George J. Harrison both of St. Clairsville; two sisters, Mary (Dave) Dean of Independence, KY., Michele Lay of Florence, KY; a brother, Terry (Cindy) Carl of Edgewood, KY; her mother-in-law, Celeste Harrison of Melbourne, KY; sisters-in-law, Kathy Knuehl of Melbourne, Jenny Harrison of Cincinnati, OH; brother-in-law, Ron (Sharon) Harrison of St. Clairsville; several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Friday from 11 am until time of Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 1 pm at St. Mary Catholic Church, St. Clairsville with Father Thomas Chillog as celebrant.  Burial in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church or Bellaire Salvation Army.

A memorial mass will be held January 15, 2022, at St. Philip Catholic Church, Melbourne, KY.
