McFarland, Judith R., 71 of St. Clairsville, Ohio died Saturday, June 20, 2009 at her home.

She was born at Martins Ferry, Ohio on August 5, 1937 a daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Dull Bennington.

Judy was a retired employee of the Belmont County Department of Human Services and a member of Christ The King Lutheran Church at St. Clairsville.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son Bruce McFarland.

She is survived by her husband, Howard A. McFarland; sons, Douglas S. McFarland of St. Clairsville and Howard J. McFarland of Chicago, IL; a sister, Joanne McFarland of West Monroe, LA; a brother, Bruce Bennington of Bradenton, FL and grandsons, C. Tyler McFarland and Devin Scott McFarland.

Family and friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. with Pastor Donna Kraus officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
