Judith Ann Coutts, 87, of Illinois, formerly of St. Clairsville, died Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at Lemont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born in 1934, in DeGraff, Ohio, a daughter of the late Donovan Clair Ellis and Luella Moore Ellis.

Judy was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Thoburn United Methodist Church in St. Clairsville and had recently been attending Grace Fellowship Church in Oak Forest, IL.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, R. David Coutts in 2006 and a brother, Donovan Keith Ellis.

Judy is survived by two sons, Gary David (Jodie) Coutts of Richmond, Virginia, and Dr. Greg Alan (Lisa) Coutts of Oak Forest, Illinois; two grandchildren, Courtney Ann and Colin Lang; and three great-grandchildren, Landon Eli, Elena Mae, and Lydia Grace.

Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Monday, August 8 ^th from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM with Rev. David St. Aubin officiating. Burial follows in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
