Judith A. Bumgardner, 80, of Barnesville, Ohio went to be with the Lord October 18, 2019 in Emerald Pointe Care Center.
She was born October 27, 1938 in Glencoe, Ohio, a daughter of the late Stanley Yoblonski and Erma Shepherd Yoblonski Rosepapa.
Judy was a 1956 Graduate of St. Clairsville High School. Her past employment included the former Belmont County Home and Book's Shoe Store in Bellaire. She was a Brownie Troop Leader and taught Bible School in Glencoe. She attended the First Baptist Church in Barnesville. Judy had a passion for reading, especially the Bible and for southern gospel music and she was a big fan of Elvis Presley. She enjoyed living in Barnesville Manor and going to Bible study there.
Surviving are her five children, Michelle (Sean) Speedy of Carrollton, Rebecca (John) Hurley of Barnesville, Barbara (Gary) Smith of St. Clairsville, Vicki (Joe) Craig of Marysville, and Marvin (Brandie) Bumgardner of Ashburn, VA; seven grandchildren, Jenna (Hayley) and Matthew Hurley, Sarah and Kyle Craig and Greysen, Emeline and Lorelei Bumgardner; a sister, Vicki (William) Gill of Danville, CA; four brothers, Michael Rosepapa of Glencoe, Brian (Christina) Rosepapa of Gilbert, AZ, Bruce Rosepapa of San Francisco, CA and Richard (Rose) Rosepapa of Bellaire; numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio, where services will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. with Pastor Rodney West officiating. Burial will follow in Warnock Cemetery, Warnock, Ohio.
