Judith Ann "Judy" Barnes, 80, of Willow Grove, died November 8, 2023, in Wheeling Hospital.

She was born September 17, 1943, in Stewartsville, Ohio, a daughter of the late James Albert Clark and June Alice Hughes Clark.

Judy was a retired employee of Big Bear in Lansing. She was a member of the former Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Neffs where she enjoyed singing in the choir.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Martin E. "Sonny" Barnes Jr.; and two brothers, Jack and John Clark.

Judy is survived by her two children, Martin D. "Marty" (Amy Jo) Barnes of Colerain and Heidi L. (Gary) Brown of Bethesda; a brother, Jimmie (Judy) Clark of Glencoe; four grandchildren, Kayla (Eric) Amato, Logan (Tiffany) Barnes, Stacie Brown and Angie Jackson; five great grandchildren, Grace, Beau, Natalia, Zack and Shane; nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at the St. John Catholic Church in Bellaire on Monday from 11 a.m. until time of Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 1 p.m., with Father Daniel Heusel as the celebrant. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville. Arrangements have been entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.
