Juanita Mae Graham, 76, of Powhatan Point, Ohio died Thursday, October 1, 2015 in Acuity Specialty Hospital in Bellaire, Ohio.
She was born on December 25, 1938 on the family farm at East Captina Highway, Jacobsburg, Ohio, a daughter of the late Fred D. VanDyne Sr. and Minnie Mayhugh VanDyne.
Juanita was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was a homemaker and was known for her many abilities including but not limited to cooking, gardening, crafts of any type, a seamstress, a barber and hairstylist and tending to everyone who was in need. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Powhatan Point.
In addition to her parents, Juanita was preceded in death by a grandson, Zachary David Lance; an infant sister, Martha Adella VanDyne; and a brother, Fred D. VanDyne Jr.
Surviving are her husband of 57 years, George L. Graham; her daughter, Lynette (David) Lance of Powhatan Point; a granddaughter, Erin Renee Lance of Powhatan Point; four brothers, Larry (Sarah) VanDyne of Lebanon Church, Virginia, Homer (Betty) VanDyne of Beallsville, Harold VanDyne of Powhatan Point and Alan VanDyne of Columbus, OH; three sisters, Charlotte (Don) Smith of Mather, Pennsylvania, Carol Ondrejko of Clinton, Maryland and Barbara (Charles) Smith of St. Clairsville; several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg, Ohio where services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 5th. Burial follows in Powhatan Cemetery, Powhatan Point, Ohio.
