Katherine Joyce Cilles Dimitro, of Glen Dale, West Virginia, died October 13, 2022, in Weirton Medical Center.

She was born September 7, 1940, in Bellaire, Ohio, a daughter of Edward "Zip" Smith and Dorothy Seladoki Smith, Kreis.

Joyce was raised in Neffs, Ohio and was a Bellaire High School graduate. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse from The Birthplace at East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry. Joyce had a great love for music and sang in numerous variety shows and was a member of the Ladies Thursday Music Club in Wheeling. She was a Methodist by faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard "Dick" Cilles; her second husband, Andy Dimitro; her son, Michael Cilles; her beloved granddaughter, Bethany Cilles Paul; and two brothers, Bud and Gary Smith.

Joyce is survived by three sons, Rick (Cathie) Cilles of St. Clairsville, David Cilles of Laredo, Texas and Jeffrey Cilles of Bellaire; a grandson, Michael (Katie) Cilles; three great grandchildren, Delaney Paul, Tucker Cilles and Hudson Cilles.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio on Monday from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. with Pastor Debra Dague officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery in St. Clairsville.
