Joyce Ann Brocklehurst, 69, of Shadyside, Ohio died March 27, 2019 in Trinity West Medical Center, Steubenville.

She was born July 9, 1949 in Bellaire, Ohio daughter of the late Vernard L. Hess and Eileen Palmer Hess.

Joyce was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.  She was a STNA for 25 years in Shadyside Care Center.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Roger D. Brocklehurst; two daughters, DeLisa (Chris) Palmer and Dane`e (T.J.) Pacifico; a sister, Carolyn Cook; two brothers, Terry Hess and Charles (Barb) Hess; five grandchildren, Dylan, Logan, Caitlin, Marissa and Jakob; two great grandchildren, Derek and Mason; nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio where services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jack Palmer officiating.  Burial will follow in Powhatan Cemetery.
