Joyce A. Beckett, 70, of Jacobsburg, OH passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale, WV. after a long battle with COPD.  She was born August 30, 1950 in Wheeling, WV., a daughter of the late Carl Blumenauer and Helen Theiss Vanicek.

Joyce was an employee of Buckeye Brake with 25 years of service and a Protestant by faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Charles Vanicek; a brother, Howard Blumenauer.

Surviving is her husband of 45 years, Greg P. Beckett, Sr. of Jacobsburg; her children, Carlene Davies of Tiltonsville, OH., Gregory P. (Stacey) Beckett, Jr. of St. Clairsville, OH., and Scott E. (Sylvia) Beckett of Jacobsburg; siblings, Linda Stotley of Maynard, OH., Angie (Joe) Hostettler of Stow, OH., Carl "Butch" (Gwen) Blumenauer and Mick (Jane) Blumenauer both of New Philadelphia, OH; a sister-in-law, Teena Bazar of Martins Ferry, OH; grandchildren, Haley M. Beckett, Abbigail M. Beckett, S.J. Beckett, Cody J. Davies and Shane N. Davies; many nieces and nephews.

As per her wishes, no visitation or services are planned.
