Obituary
Mead, Joshua Michael, 20, of Belmont, died Thursday, Oct. 23, 2008 in Children?s Hospital, Columbus after a long battle with Cystic Fibrosis. He was born May 26, 1988, son of Michael A. Mead.
Josh was a 2008 Union Local High School graduate.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Marman A. Mead.
Surviving are his father, Michael A. Mead of Belmont; two brothers, Michael A. Mead II of Seoul, Korea and Todd M. Taylor of Daytona, Florida; his grandmother/mother, Beatrice Mead of Belmont; uncles, M. Alan Mead and M. Arthur Mead; aunt, M.A. Doll (Apple) Applegarth all of Belmont; cousins, Amanda Applegarth of Seneca Falls, New York and Dylan Applegarth of Belmont.
Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Saturday from 6 p.m. until time of service at 8 p.m. with Wayne Clark officiating.
