Sparling, Josephine, 82 of Key, Ohio died Friday, August 1, 2008 at her home.

She was born at Belpre, Ohio on March 9, 1926 a daughter of the late Wilson Gay Bowser and Rebecca Miller Bowser.

Josephine was a former employee of Bellaire Hospital and retired from the Sears Ohio Valley Mall store. She was a member of the Bethel Presbyterian Church at Key.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Imogene Snyder brothers, Holly Bowser and Harold Bowser.

She is survived by her husband, Eugene H. "Hille" Sparling; her children, David (Dawn Marie) Sparling of Canal Fulton, Ohio; Tamara (Jeff) Tiger of Bridgeport and Stacey (Dr. Wendy) Sparling of Galena, Ohio; brothers Shirley Bowser of Alliance, Ohio and Warren Bowser of Belpre, Ohio; a sister Judy Flynn of Pensacola, Florida; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home, Jacobsburg, Ohio on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where services will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Kurt Turner officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens at Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
