Josephine Johanna King, 89 of 100 Reservoir Road, St. Clairsville died Sunday, January 12, 2003 at her home. She was born at Thurles, Ireland on August 22, 1913 a daughter of the late Michael and Margaret Webster Loughnane.

She was a home maker and a Catholic by faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter King; a son, Michael S. King and three brothers, Jerrome, Michael and Danial Loughnane.

Surviving are two daughters, Christine Kaplet of St. Clairsville and Josey Isvoranu of San Francisco, CA; two sons, Richard King of Lafferty and Gerald King of Belmar, NJ; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville where services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Father Chester Pabin officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens at Pleasant Grove.
