Gereg, Josephine M., 88, of Kinsman, Ohio died Jan. 19, 2009 in East Ohio Regional Hospital. She was born July 15, 1920 in Braddock, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Ladislav and Mary Butko Kraly.

Josephine was a homemaker and a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Maynard.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Gereg; 5 sisters, Ann, Helen, Margaret, Mary Lou and Martha; 5 brothers, Michael, Ladislav, George, Edward and Francis.

Surviving are two sons, Stephen (Isabel) Gereg of Glasgow, Scotland and Allan (Linda) Gereg of St. Clairsville; 3 grandchildren, Kristopher (Ashley) Gereg of St. Clairsville, Colleen Gereg of Hope Mills, North Carolina and Samantha Gereg of Glasgow, Scotland; 2 great grandchildren, Noah and Ciera.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Church in Maynard with Father Thomas Graven as celebrant. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
