Obituary

RONYAK, Joseph, 91, of Warnock, Ohio died Friday, March 15, 2013 at East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry, Ohio.

He was born in Warnock on June 27, 1921, son of the late Steve and Mary Fodor Ronyak.

Joe was a retired employee from Oglebay Norton Mines and Hanna Coal Co. Georgetown Stripmines. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was awarded the Purple Heart. He was a self-employed carpenter and cabinet maker; he was a 59 year member of Weyer Lodge No. 541 F. & A.M. at Centerville and member of Scottish Rite Bodies Valley of Steubenville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Loni Dora Bishop Ronyak; three brothers, John, Robert and Steve; and a sister, Ellen.

He is survived by stepchildren, Kathy, Gary, John and Larry; nieces and nephews, Tim, R. C. and Roberta of California, Carolyn of Pennsylvania, Steve of Shadyside, Robert of South Carolina, Barbara of Pennsylvania and Charlotte of Georgia; Great nieces and great nephews; special friends, Fred and Tina Holub of St. Clairsville.

Family and friends will be received on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville where services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Warnock Cemetery.

Weyer Lodge will hold Masonic Funeral Services on Monday at 7:45 p.m. in the funeral home.

Full Military Honors will be conducted by the Belmont County Council of American Legions at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
