Jonnetta May Christy Appolloni, 82, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died October 24, 2024, at Belmont Manor in St. Clairsville.

She was born May 2, 1942, in Wheeling, West Virginia. She was raised by her later father, Ralph Christy Sr. and her late stepmother, Geraldine Christy.

Jonnetta was a retired employee of East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry, Ohio. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in St. Clairsville. She liked watching Fox News and working crossword puzzles and spending time with her family and especially her grandson, Dylan Appolloni.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Christy and her sister, Margaret "Peggy".

Jonnetta is survived by her two children, Chris Appolloni and Bill (Gail) Appolloni, a grandson, Dylan Appolloni; three brothers, Don, Ralph, and Joe Christy; nieces and nephews; and a granddog, Lacey.

Family and friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio on Saturday, October 26,2024, from 5 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m., with Father Daniel Heusel officiating.
