Jonathan Ernest Lindner, 43, of Jacobsburg, Ohio died January 8, 2018 at his home.
He was born March 11, 1974 in Bellaire, Ohio, son of Bonnie L. Berry Ray and the late Jerry E. Lindner.
Jonathan was a 1992 graduate of St. Clairsville High School where he ran cross country and wrestled. He attended Ohio State University. He was an electrician and previously employed by New Cut Tool. He enjoyed music, woodworking and working on his home. Jonathan lived life as a minimalist with few wants or desires other than his love for family and friends.
In addition to his father, Jerry he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles A. and Clara Berry and Ernest A. and Betty May Lindner.
Surviving are his parents, Bonnie and Walter "Bud" Ray of Belmont; his sister, Amy (Eric) McManamay of Lewisburg, WV; brother, David Ray of Columbus; a nephew, Ian McManamay; a niece, Alyson McManamay; his stepmother, Joy Lindner; loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
A visitation will be held at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio on Friday from 10 a.m. until time of memorial service at 1 p.m. with Rev. Tom Jones officiating.
