Johnny Earl Taylor's Obituary

Johnny Earl Taylor, 67 formerly of Jacobsburg, Ohio, currently residing at Cumberland Pointe Care Center in St. Clairsville died Sunday, July 26, 2015 at East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry, Ohio.

He was born November 11, 1947 in Bellaire, Ohio, a son of Delores M. Higgins Taylor of Jacobsburg and the late Paul "Warren" Taylor.

Johnny was a retired employee of Ohio Valley Coal #6 mine and former employee of North American Coal #3 mine, a Methodist, and Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jo Ellen Taylor.

Surviving in addition to his mother, are his wife, Diana Lynn Haught Taylor; three sons, Johnny Taylor, Jr. of Wheeling, Michael Taylor of Shadyside, and Scott Taylor of Shadyside; eight brothers, Terry, Greg, Roger, Larry, Wayne "Crow", Brent, Mark, and Tim Taylor; two sisters, Sharon Yoss, and Valerie Marbais; four grandchildren, Devon Jack Eckard, Mikenzie Dae-Lynn Taylor, Caleigh Nicole Taylor, and Kaden Bradley Taylor.

Friends will received at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg on Thursday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m.

Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Jacosburg Cemetery.
