Johnny Daryl Norris's Obituary
Johnny Daryl Norris, 64 of Scio, Ohio died Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Carriage Inn in Cadiz.
He was born December 20, 1950 in Steubenville, Ohio, a son of the late Lloyd Durr Norris and Georgia Opal Young Norris.
He was a former truck driver and coal miner, a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, and a Methodist.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Brandon Morckel; maternal grandparents, George and Ruby Wine Young; paternal grandparents, Joseph and Elizabeth Norris.
Surviving are his wife, Shirley Ann Shultz Norris; three children, Christina Morckel of Carrollton, James Norris of Richmond, and Daniel Norris of Scio; four brothers, Lloyd Richard Norris of Scio, Thomas Perry Norris of Byron, GA, Scott Norris of Scio, and David William Norris of Barnhill; a sister, Victoria Tubaugh of Scio; four grandchildren.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. where services will be held on Thursday at 1 p.m. with Pastor Jack Palmer officiating.
Burial follows in Warnock Cemetery, Warnock, Ohio.
Military graveside service will be conducted by the Belmont County Veteran's Association.
