John C. "Mick" Visnic, 85, of Shadyside, OH passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023 at Liza's Place of Valley Hospice, Wheeling, WV.  He was born November 2, 1937 in Dilles Bottom, OH., a son of the late Michael P. and Mary A. Whitlatch Visnic.

Mick was the former owner/operator of the former Hoffmann House Furniture in Shadyside and a Presbyterian by faith.  He was a member of the former Lions Club and enjoyed car shows.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Dave Visnic and Robert L. Visnic, Sr.

Surviving are his wife Phyllis Jean Landkrohn Visnic of Shadyside; his children, Carole Ann (John) Poch of Shadyside and Jon Richard (Sarah) Visnic of Snowmass, CO; two brothers, Mike "June" Visnic of Lakewood, OH and Donald (Pat) Visnick of San Diego, CA; four grandchildren, Jaime Lyn (Jim) Siburt, Jason Lee (Ashley) Helms, Nyla O'Hara Visnic, Opal Amaya Visnic; three great grandchildren, Austin Siburt, James Siburt and Daniel Lee Helms.

A private for family graveside funeral service at 12 pm on Thursday at Holly Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Pleasant Grove, OH with Pastor Joel Traylor officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Liza's Place of Valley Hospice.
